Minions!!!

I have been insanely busy the past few weeks. Minion Hat orders are flying at me and I'm loving it! I was also a bridesmaid in a wedding, celebrated my friend's son's second birthday, and hosted a pirate birthday for my own son's second birthday. My passion for crochet has really turned into a business I can be proud of. It's been a truly exciting start to what I hope will be an amazing adventure.

Before the month is over, I plan to start creating tutorials on YouTube and posting more patterns. I am also going to work hard to post updates on what I have on my hook. Hopefully, I can create more Halloween and Fall themed creations very soon. As I make them, I will post a little blurb here and possibly a pattern. For now, I leave you with adorable pictures of the Minion Hats that are a huge part of my past few weeks. :)

Pumpkin Hat

With fall quickly approaching, I am in the mood to make Halloween and fall inspired hats and creations. A few weeks ago, my handy newsletter from AllFreeCrochet.com had an adorable pattern for a pumpkin hat I fell in love with. Me being me, I adapted the pattern because I am a fan of using a Magic Circle and crocheting in the round when I make hats. I think they look better and more professional this way. The original pattern can be found here.

This is my first time writing out a pattern, if I confuse you, please let me know so I can explain it or fix the problem. I hope you enjoy!

Welcome!

I decided to create this blog to share my crochet creations, tutorials, and patterns. Crochet is my favorite hobby by far. I love to create other crafts, bake, and cook as well but I always fall back on crochet when I find my hands are idle. I recently started a Facebook page to share my creations and get new ideas from people. I also have an Etsy shop where my creations and patterns are available to purchase.

This blog will mainly be dedicated to my crochet creations but I plan to treat my readers to other crafts, recipes, and milestones of my life as well. I am truly grateful to my readers and followers and I appreciate each of you for taking the time to read my blog and check into my pages. Thank you so much.
